About Us

Our mission, and our story:

At Branch of the Vine, we believe that, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit in each of us, God has gifted us with everything we need to become like Christ and to grow into the true bride of Christ…His true, holy, unified body, the Church.

“As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that we may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:3-4 (NKJV)

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)

“That He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:27 (NKJV)

It is our hearts desire to partner with God, through His Holy Spirit in us, to grow just that kind of church.  A church where:

• We are true brothers and sisters in Christ.

• We truly are bound by love.

• We live to edify each other’s faith.

• We can speak the truth in love and grace to each other and know we are helping to grow each other in Christ.

• We are living, breathing evidence of the nature of Christ, at church, at home, at work and in the world.

• We are so obedient to God’s Word and His leading that He will not hesitate to draw others into our fellowship, just as He did in the first Apostolic church depicted in the book of Acts.

This is our passion, and this is who we are in Christ.

If God has put a yearning in your heart for this kind of church family, we’d love to have you come for a visit!

The Mission of Branch of the Vine Church is:

-To reveal God’s great love for us.

People change by devoting themselves to the truth of the Gospel, through:  Sharing in worship as members of the Body of Jesus fitly joined together; Bible study; Prayer, discernment and obedience; Breaking of the Bread and sharing of the Cup of our Lord’s Supper: Baptism of new members into His Body: Sharing of meals and other fellowship as a true Family in Christ, and: Serving those in need both near and far.  This is how we, as a church, participate in His great revelation.

-To show the Gospel promises are real for evermore.

In all we do as a church, we proclaim the Good News of what God has done in and through His Son Jesus Christ, so that all the people will respond to the Gospel by repentance.
